Jubilee 2025

The Jubilee Year of Hope began December 24 as Pope Francis opened the Holy Door of Saint Peter's Basilica. In the Diocese of Pittsburgh, Bishop David Zubik celebrated the opening Mass of Jubilee 2025 at Saint Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh.

The Jubilee is a special time to experience God's mercy, seek forgiveness, and embrace God's presence in our lives.

Many pilgrims are traveling to Rome to mark Jubilee 2025. However, there are six churches in our diocese named by Bishop Zubik as pilgrimage sites to receive a plenary indulgence:
